Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal advised users to vote "carefully" in Elon Musk's poll on whether the social media network should include an edit button on Monday night.

"The results of this poll will have far-reaching implications.

Please vote with care "Musk's tweet elicited a response from Agrawal.

Musk's statement from a poll he organized in March, in which he questioned his more than 80 million Twitter followers if the network allowed users to talk freely, was echoed by Agrawal.Over 2.8 million people have voted in Musk's Twitter poll.

Agrawal did not go into detail on what the consequences will be. 

 Musk's poll, which misspelled the alternatives as "yse" and "on," was posted within an hour of Agrawal's confusing warning.
The blunder alluded to a user's inability to rectify mistakes after tweets were sent.


The poll had already received over 2.8 million votes as of 8 a.m. ET Tuesday.
Within the next 12 hours, it will close.


Musk questioned the platform's structure for the first time after acquiring a 9% interest in the social media firm. 

 

Musk has previously been a vocal opponent of the platform, claiming in March that it "failed to adhere to free speech ideals," so "fundamentally undermining democracy."

Musk has also hinted at the potential of launching his own social media platform.

Musk had over 80 million followers as of Tuesday. 

The problem is that the left has rewritten the rules of free speech right in front of our eyes.
They're worried about Elon Musk's leadership of Twitter because they know that true free speech would be protected, unlike what Twitter has done for the past four years, which has been to ban dissenting viewpoints and flag any comment that doesn't align with their ideology.  

At the very least, free expression and propaganda are diametrically opposed.
Many "clever" people don't seem to understand this dilemma. They claim to want to keep propaganda to a bare minimum, therefore "propaganda" is censored. Of course, the censor has his or her own agenda, so censorship is just another sort of propaganda. Of course, those who profess to be "wise" label anything with which they disagree as propaganda.

Zelensky claims that Moscow is using the UN to "spread its lies."

 According to the White House, global sanctions have impacted negatively on Russia's financial system, which is now "on the verge of collapsing." Inflation, according to the White House, will cause Russia's financial downfall.


Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, said the timing of Russia defaulting on its loans is entirely dependent on Vladimir Putin's response to the sanctions put on the country.


While no specific date was mentioned for when this would happen, the White House did say that it was becoming "more and more harder for President Putin to fund this war every single day."


This comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the United Nations to hold Nuremberg-style trials to punish Russia for the war crimes perpetrated by its troops.

Mr Zelensky told members of the UN Security Council that Russian forces' acts were "no different from terrorists," and that women had been raped by Russian troops in front of their children.
